About this game
Welcome to the Technical Test of Project 56!
Project 56 is a post-apocalypse open-world role-playing game.
The goal of these tests was to determine if a warhead or weapon damaged in an accident would still detonate if all of its high-explosive components are detonated or burned. The procedure for faulting the test bomb was to remove a detonator wire,
which would allow the weapon to be enhanced with additional initiators or an enriched core. After the weapon has been fired, the test device would then be discarded.
If the weapon has produced a nuclear yield during the firing, then the test is considered a failure. A successful test would only measure the chemical explosive in the bomb's core, which would then explode. The remaining bomb material would then be dispersed over a wide area if the test was conducted in the open air.
After the nuclear apocalypse, nothing other than ruins were left in the world.
You are tasked with leaving the Vault to search for the legendary key, known as the Core of Creation, to save the world.
